SERVICE INFORMATION

Support

Get help with your GeoCompute workspace, file conversion or subscription connection.

[email protected]

Include the error message, when it happened with your time zone, and the job or request ID shown in the workspace. For connection issues, include the GeoCompute SaaS subscription ID if available. A small example with confidential details removed can help reproduce a file problem.

Do not email passwords, sign-in codes, access tokens, purchase-token URLs, card details or confidential datasets.

Connect your purchase

  1. Open the publisher’s website from your GeoCompute SaaS purchase in Microsoft.
  2. Sign in with the Microsoft account associated with that subscription. A different account or organization will not have access merely because it knows the subscription ID.
  3. If the workspace asks you to activate the purchased subscription, review the plan and billing notice before confirming. Activation starts Microsoft subscription billing under the purchase terms.

For an already active subscription, use the workspace’s connection form with the GeoCompute SaaS subscription ID. This is different from the Azure subscription ID used for billing.

If activation is still pending, use Check activation status. Contact support if it remains unresolved; purchasing again does not resolve an uncertain activation.

Prepare a supported file

Files must use UTF-8 text encoding and be no larger than 1 MiB (1,048,576 bytes). CSV accepts up to 10,000 points. GeoJSON currently accepts one feature with up to 100,000 vertices, subject to the output-size limit. Multi-feature GeoJSON is being prepared and is not accepted yet.

Conversion output is limited to 4 MiB. A valid input can still be rejected if its converted output is too large. Split the dataset into smaller supported files when necessary.

Results, usage and interrupted requests

A completed conversion produces a ZIP with output.geojson, report.json, report.html and manifest.json. Open report.html in a browser to read, print or save it as PDF. The report lists the checks performed and file fingerprints for integrity verification. It does not establish positional accuracy, match real-world entities or verify your data’s license.

Successful conversions count toward the plan’s included usage. Pending work can temporarily reserve capacity. If the connection drops or the outcome is uncertain, check the original request in the workspace before starting another conversion. Repeatedly uploading the same file as a new request can create separate jobs.

Download results you need to keep. Signing out or cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete stored results, but a valid session and eligible subscription are required to access them. For data access or deletion requests, see the privacy notice.

Billing and purchase documents

Microsoft handles the Marketplace purchase, billing, renewal and cancellation. Manage these in the Microsoft portal using the purchasing account. Signing out of GeoCompute does not cancel the subscription.

For an invoice, use the purchasing account’s billing area after Microsoft issues it. The workspace’s Purchase documents guide explains quotation and invoice routes. A purchase confirmation or account-configuration email is not an invoice. See Microsoft’s billing and invoice guide.
